Ms. Alice is a British-trained educator from the UK and has lived in Malaysia for just over 12 years. With 17+ years of experience as a Primary School Teacher and now a tutor, having most recently worked at Garden International School.
Her goal is to boost every child’s confidence by equipping them with the key skills they need to read, write, and spell. Ms Michelle, from the UK, is an experienced teacher and school leader with a passion for creating engaging, meaningful learning experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. While she has extensive expertise in Early Years and Key Stage 1, her experience also spans across primary education, supporting children at different stages of their learning journey.
Ms Michelle has a strong background in the teaching of English, early reading, and phonics, helping children develop the skills they need to become confident and enthusiastic readers and writers. She is committed to making learning interactive and accessible, ensuring every child experiences success and develops a love for literacy.
Michelle gained Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in 2004 and has held a range of leadership positions, including Early Years and Key Stage 1 Lead, Deputy Head, and English Lead. As English Lead at her most recent school, she led English provision across Years 1 to 6, driving improvements in reading, writing, and the wider English curriculum. She was also the phonics lead for both her school and the local authority, where she provided training and supported schools in developing and strengthening their phonics provision and delivery.
Ms. Rebekah, from the UK, has been a primary school teacher in both England and Australia for over 20 years, working across the private and public sectors. She brings a wealth of experience, particularly with early years learners, and is eager to start working with our little ones.
Rebekah has taught hundreds of children to read and write, including her own two boys. Along with her enthusiasm, she brings vast knowledge of phonics and spelling, ensuring every child feels confident and competent when learning to read and write.
Rebekah is a busy mum of two wonderful boys aged 9 and 11. When she’s not cooking for the family or ferrying her boys to Jiu Jitsu classes, she might be found getting creative with crochet – or enjoying a good book.
Ms. Katie, from the UK, brings nearly ten years of teaching experience, with a strong background in Early Years education. She has taught Reception, Year One, and Year Two, and has worked with a wide range of children, including those with additional learning needs.
Most recently, Katie worked with the charitable organisation Suffolk Mind, supporting children’s mental health in schools, a role that speaks to her deeply caring nature and child-centred approach.
Katie has taught both in the UK and the Middle East and is now based in the UK with her family. She’s a busy mum to three brilliant boys aged 12, 8, and 5. When she’s not standing on the sidelines of a football pitch, she’s likely to be found pottering in her garden, her newest passion!
