Meet our Tutors
Thank you for stopping by, I'm Ms. Alice đź‘‹
I am a British-trained educator from the UK and have lived in Malaysia for just over 12 years. With 17+ years of experience as a Primary School Teacher and now a tutor, I have most recently worked at Garden International School.
My goal is to boost every child’s confidence by equipping them with the key skills they need to read, write, and spell. I believe that building strong foundations is crucial for any child to reach their full potential, and through a well-structured and supportive programme, I can help your child develop the tools they need to succeed.
If you're looking to build your child's confidence in reading, spelling or writing, please do get in touch.
Meet Ms. Katie
Ms. Katie, from the UK, brings nearly ten years of teaching experience, with a strong background in Early Years education. She has taught Reception, Year One, and Year Two, and has worked with a wide range of children, including those with additional learning needs.
Most recently, Katie worked with the charitable organisation Suffolk Mind, supporting children’s mental health in schools, a role that speaks to her deeply caring nature and child-centred approach.
Katie has taught both in the UK and the Middle East and is now based in the UK with her family. She’s a busy mum to three brilliant boys aged 12, 8, and 5. When she’s not standing on the sidelines of a football pitch, she’s likely to be found pottering in her garden, her newest passion!
“I’m thrilled to be joining Jigsaw Phonics with Alice to deliver phonics lessons. Supporting children on their reading journey is truly one of the most rewarding parts of teaching!” Ms. Katie

Meet Ms. Rebekah
Ms. Rebekah, from the UK, has been a primary school teacher in both England and Australia for over 20 years, working across the private and public sectors. She brings a wealth of experience, particularly with early years learners, and is eager to start working with our little ones.
Rebekah has taught hundreds of children to read and write, including her own two boys. Along with her enthusiasm, she brings vast knowledge of phonics and spelling, ensuring every child feels confident and competent when learning to read and write.
Rebekah is a busy mum of two wonderful boys aged 9 and 11. When she’s not cooking for the family or ferrying her boys to Jiu Jitsu classes, she might be found getting creative with crochet – or enjoying a good book.Â
“I am honestly so excited to join the Jigsaw Phonics team with Alice and Katie. Opening up the world of books to children through teaching them to read is one of the highlights of my day.”
