School Phonics Explained Workshop

School Phonics Explained is a hands-on two-hour session designed for parents and caregivers of children who have just started school, or who are in the early stages of learning phonics. In this workshop, you will gain a clear understanding of how phonics is taught in the classroom, so you can confidently support your child’s reading journey at home.

Through fun and practical activities, you’ll discover ways to reinforce your child’s learning, build their confidence, and make phonics practice enjoyable. This workshop is ideal for parents who want to feel equipped to mirror what their child is learning at school and provide meaningful support at home.

This workshop is an introduction to school phonics and does not come with a certification.

*This workshop is best suited for parents of Reception-aged children (4-5), but is also open to those with slightly older children who are just beginning to read. For children younger than 4, the Phonics Fundamentals workshop is recommended.
